Music plays a vital role in church worship during Christmas and Advent, helping to shape the spiritual atmosphere and prepare hearts for the coming of Christ. Through hymns, carols, and reflective melodies, congregations are invited to enter into the themes of hope, expectation, and joy that define the season.
Advent hymns encourage reflection and anticipation of Christ’s arrival, while Christmas music celebrates the fulfillment of God’s promise with a sense of wonder and praise. Together, these musical traditions connect worshippers, deepen our faith, and allow the message of the season to resonate more fully in both heart and mind.
LAC's Advent season will focus on not just the stories of the season, but the stories behind the songs of the season as well. We are honored to have a wide variety of musical guests join us in Worship over the next weeks.
