Over the last weeks, our LAC community has suffered pain and grief from the loss of several members and friends of LAC. As a community, we continue to offer prayers for their families and friends.
In difficult times, the power of faith and community serves as a guiding light, offering strength when hope seems distant. Faith provides inner resilience—a belief that challenges can be overcome and that there’s meaning beyond the struggle. At the same time, our community surrounds us with support, reminding us that we’re not alone. Together, they create a powerful foundation of compassion, encouragement, and shared strength that helps us persevere and heal.
Even in hardship, moments of connection can uplift spirits and make healing possible -- a gentle, steady process of rebuilding the heart and renewing hope.
With this in mind, we remind and invite everyone to join us this Sunday for fellowship and connection at LAC's Annual Family Picnic, which begins at 11:15 AM following Pentecost Sunday Worship -- itself a joyous and special opportunity to come together as a community.
