During Lent, the music will follow the theme “I AM”. Each week will feature a selection of music related to the scriptures of the day.
March 16:
Loving Shepherd of Thy Sheep
March 23:
I Am the Vine
March 30:
I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life
April 6:
I Am the Bread of Life
The Larchmont Symphonia will join us on March 30.
On Good Friday, the Choir will present a sung version of the Passion by Randall DeBruyn. On Easter Sunday, the Choir is joined by our Brass Quintet for music by Craig Phillips and Shawn Kirchner.
As we did for Advent, we will have a seasonal run for those interested in singing with the choir for part of Lent and Holy Week. We will begin working on that music next Wednesday, March 19. Join us in Russell Hall at 7:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact me at dkostner@lacny.org.
