Worship Notes

Worship Service at 9:00 a.m.

Sunday, October 18

Bible Sunday

Matthew 22:15-22

Trunk or Treat this Friday!

Join the fun by decorating your trunk (or table) in any way you choose; some folks 'go all out' and others keep it simple. There are no rules! Costumes are encouraged but not necessary. Bring some treats for the children; candy or healthy items welcome, please no nuts. If you need ideas or candy, contact Kaleigh. Sign-up below. Or just come to watch all the fun!

In the event of rain, we will hold the event indoors and create trick or treating stations to decorate inside. We will have the kids trick or treat around the church and then have some fun Halloween activity stations downstairs.

Set up at 4:30pm, trick or treat from 5-7pm.

Honoring Black History Oct 18

It is with pride and excitement that HBH is featuring Dr. Lonnie Braxton II as our guest speaker for the Sunday October 18th forum.

If you were to look Lonnie up online you would see an endless line of contributions and accomplishments that he has made, and continues to make, throughout his life. A life that has been referred to as "A Life of Service, Justice & History in New London".

The forum will take place at 10:40am in the multipurpose room.

Christmas Card-Making Oct 19

The Christmas Cards will be sent to local community partners. Many hands appreciated. Workshop is led by Rose Conley. Hope to see you on October 19th!
