From the Principal

Those who follow you, Lord, will have the light of life.

Psalm 1

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful long weekend.

Thank you for your cooperation as we await the end of the construction on Central.

Red Ribbon Week begins Wednesday, October 23.  Please view the special activities and dress code that Student Council has planned for the week. While

the main purpose is a week-long awareness campaign that promotes a drug-free lifestyle, we have added some fun activities, as well as a prayer

contest to engage the students. Special thanks to Student Council for their planning of this week.

Pumpkin Walk is coming!  Please see the flyer for more information.

Halloween Parade - On Oct. 31, students may wear costumes to “hide who they are so drugs don’t find them” on our final day of celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  No blood, scary masks, or weapons allowed.  The students will participate in a costume parade as part of our party celebrations.  Parents are welcome to attend the parade.  The parade is set to begin at 2:15. A big THANK YOU to all our parents who have volunteered to run the classroom parties on Tuesday.

Have a great week!

Ms. Booth

We will be collecting clean coats, gloves, mittens, hats and scarves.  Men, women, and children coats are needed.  Please drop off your items at Hajdu Hall that weekend.  Your donations will be brought to Catholic Charities and other organizations where they will be given directly to the homeless in Chicago.   Know your donation will bring warmth to those that are living in the cold.
