From the Principal

We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds.

Psalm 75

Hello Everyone!

As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many blessings that enrich our school and express my heartfelt gratitude to all who contribute to make SES such a special place. This is a season to pause and reflect on the many gifts God has bestowed upon us, and I am especially grateful for each of you-students, parents, teachers, parish and school staff who enhance our community with faith, kindness, and love.

First and foremost, I thank God for His unwavering presence and grace, which guide us in all we do. With God all things are possible. I especially want to thank Fr. Presta and Fr. Hank for their extraordinary support of the school. Each member of our community is blessed by their faithful example and generosity of spirit.

To our teachers and staff: thank you for your tireless commitment to shaping young minds and hearts. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your dedication, talent, and care. Your work extends far beyond the classroom, as you inspire our students to serve others and strive for excellence.

To our parents and families: thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of partnering in your child's education. Whether you volunteer for FSA, School Board, Athletics, lunch duty, hot lunch distribution, room parents, parent ambassadors, or share your talent with us, your support and involvement strengthen our community and make SES a place where faith and learning thrive.

And to our students: you are a daily reminder of why we do what we do. Your curiosity, compassion, and energy fill our school with life and hope for the future. Watching you learn, grow, and succeed spiritually, academically, and socially is the greatest joy of our work.

As we gather around our tables this Thanksgiving, let us remember those who may be experiencing hardship or loneliness. May we reach out in the spirit of Christ's love, offering prayers and acts of kindness to bring comfort and joy to others. I also hope that you find moments of joy, rest, and reflection.

Wishing you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with warmth and gratitude.

With sincere thanks,

Ms. Booth
