Please keep our 2nd graders in your prayers as they receive their First Holy Communion this weekend.  May 

God bless them on this most sacred journey.



A big THANK YOU to all the parents who helped at Track-a-Thon.  What a beautiful day we had for our school fundraiser.  Many thanks to the teachers who planned and executed the day - Mrs. Tagbo, Mrs. Ewig, Ms. Modory, Mrs. Letica, Ms. Kontos, and Mrs. Modory.

Parent Information

**Financial assistance applications for the 2025/26 School Year MUST be completed in Blackbaud ASAP. The original deadline was April 1. Directions are available on the school website. If you would like a hard copy of the directions, please contact Mrs. Geiger.**


Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is May 5th - May 9th! Please see the schedule for our faculty events during this special week. The deadline to submit your Teacher Appreciation Student Projects has been extended until Friday, May 2nd. Please complete and return them to Cynthia Herrera c/o Frankie Cox K-10. We are looking for 100% student participation! Also, mark your calendars: Thursday, May 8th will be a Colorful Dress Down Day for all students and staff. Wear your teacher's favorite color to school that day (see attached chart). If you have any questions, please email Cynthia (herreraxcynthia@gmail.com) or Karre Scarlata (kks71688@yahoo.com).

EXTENDED CARE:

**The SES Track team practices in the North Parking lot on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. The gates will be locked. Please park on Henry St. and walk to pick up your student(s).**

**NOTE: Forms are due by 3:00 p.m. on the due date or the $20 late fee will apply.**

ABSENCE GUIDELINES: If your child is going to be late or out, you must call the Absentee Hotline at 224-500-3743. Please leave your child's name, room number and reason for absence or tardy. Per our handbook, if your child is absent three or more days, please provide a doctor's note upon their return.


LUNCH VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED DAILY to monitor the K-8 students during lunch and recess at the following times: Kindergarten-3rd grade 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; 4th-8th grade 12:10 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. IF EACH FAMILY COVERED ONE LUNCH PER MONTH, ALL OF OUR TEACHERS WOULD GET A BREAK. If you would like to help at either or both, please sign up on this link. If you want to volunteer in any capacity (lunch duty, field trip chaperone, classroom party helper, coach etc.), you need to be Virtus trained and up to date on your compliance.
