First week photos!

We're off to a great start

An exciting new NC tradition: Houses of Service

Community, camaraderie, friendly competition

This year at Newark Catholic, students will get to feel what it means to be a part of something more, something bigger, through our new house system!

Students have been placed into four different houses, each containing a mix of grade levels. Together, they'll help one another see beyond themselves by selecting a community organization to support and help, guided by the question: "What is God calling us to do?”

In addition to service, students will also be encouraged to play a role in building a sense of community and positive school culture by attending various spotlight events. Attending these events will help houses earn points in the house point system.

Next opportunities for house points!

Please note...

We did some clean-up on our Wednesday Wave distribution lists. If you hear of families not receiving it, or if it's no longer being sent to your desired email address, please contact Emily Winters.

Help your student develop these two important habits!

Doing so alleviates stress on teachers and staff and ensures students are equipped and ready to engage in class.

Every Evening

Students need to fully charge their school-issued device (either Chromebook or iPad) every night, just as they would a phone or any other tool they rely on daily.

Every Morning

Students are to bring their school-issued device and charger to school every day.

Fill out, review and/or sign needed docs in Final Forms

In Final Forms, you will see a set of forms (including the handbook) that need filled out, reviewed and/or signed. Students and a parent/guardian must complete the review process which also includes updating the medical history and any changes in address, phone number and so on. Please complete your forms as soon as possible.

For questions about--or help with--Final Forms, please contact Ande Annarino.
