Take Part in World Give Day, May 4

Funds raised support NC STEM, the arts and faith formation

This year, Day of Giving becomes World Give Day at NC, a time to come together and invest in what matters most: Our students.

Your World Give Day gift will directly fuel transformative learning experiences in STEM, the Arts, and Faith Formation. From hands-on science exploration to artistic expression and spiritual growth, every contribution strengthens our classrooms and expands opportunities for all students.

At Newark Catholic High School, we are committed to preparing students not just for success, but for purpose. Your generosity sparks curiosity, nurtures talent, and opens doors to bright futures.

Please help make World Give Day at NC a powerful success for our current and future students. We cannot do it without you!

Life After NC Panel Discussion

For high school students, the "real world" is right around the corner! To help NC students prepare, Senior Therese Fullenkamp worked with Dr. Roberts (NC's school-based clinical counselor and art-therepist) and her assistant, Abby Caskey, to pull together a panel discussion focused on life after Newark Catholic. The panel featured the following members, all of whom are NC alumni:

  • Abby Caskey, attends The Ohio State University for Psychology
  • Anne Scarberry, attends Ohio University for English Literature
  • Sam Vincent, attends Ashland University for Digital Media Journalism
  • Mark Jewett, attends Pontifical College of Josephinum and is currently a Seminarian in the Discipleship stage

Panel members fielded questions that students submitted in advance.

FACTS login update takes effect next week (May 6)

Starting May 6, when you log into FACTS, you will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA), an update FACTS is making as part of its commitment to keeping your data safe. After entering your username and password, you will either be emailed a code to enter or get one from an authenticator app to proceed (depending on your preference during the setup). Please set aside a few minutes to review this informational flyer. It clearly explains how to set up and use MFA and should help you smoothly and easily adopt this new step.

FACTS is making another update that should simplify access for our families. After May 6, a single user account can be used across all core FACTS products. For example, families will now be able to use the same credentials to access the family portal and apply for financial aid. Accordingly, you may be prompted to update your username and/or password when you log into FACTS on May 6 or after.

Complete your returning student enrollment packet!

We can't wait to welcome our current families back to Newark Catholic for the 2026-2027 school year! To complete the returning student enrollment process, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log into your FACTS Family Portal account here using district code nchs-oh

For those who use FACTS at other schools, the system may auto-populate your district code, username and/or password from that school. Be sure to clear those fields before logging into your NC FACTS Family Portal to avoid issues.

Step 2: Go to the left-side Navigation Menu, click on Apply/Enroll; then click on Enrollment/Reenrollment. From there, you will see your student's name.

Much of the information entered last year will auto-populate, making the process quick and easy. As part of the process, you will be required to select a payment plan. As you complete the packet, your information will be saved if you need to pause and come back later.

If you have any questions about returning student enrollment, please contact our office at 740-344-3594.
