Important Deadline Approaching March 15: FACTS Grant & Aid

As we continue prepping for the 26-27 school year, please note that the 2026-27 FACTS Grant & Aid application is open and is being accepted through March 15.

Even if you don't think you will be eligible for any aide beyond Ohio EdChoice, we strongly encourage all families to apply for these key reasons:

  • Emmaus Road donations increased again last year, meaning there is more money available for families
  • More and more Parishes are asking if families have exercised every opportunity for aid before the Parish Grant. Applying for FACTS Grant & Aid ensures you are exploring every avenue available.
  • For our JPSN (Jon Peterson Special Needs) families, currently the State only allows for one JPSN OR EdChoice Scholarship to be awarded/accepted per student; they cannot be held together. This means that filling out a FACTS Grant and Aid application is one of the only other ways JPSN families can access available financial assistance to supplement tuition costs.

How to apply for FACTS Grant & Aid

The application has been simplified from previous years, making it easier (and less invasive) to complete. One key difference is the removal of some expense-related questions. The application is now an income-only application.

  • Log into FACTS Family Portal using district code NCHS-OH
  • Choose the 'Financial' tab:
  • Under 'Financial Links' choose 'Apply for Aid' in blue.
You will most likely then be prompted to sign in again before taking you to the FACTS Financial home to fill out the application.

For any questions or issues logging in to your FACTS Family Portal account, please contact Ande Annarino (aannarino@newarkcatholic.org) or Ben Lee (blee@newarkcatholic.org).
