Class of 2031 Visits NC!

Last week, current 7th grade students from St. Francis and Blessed Sacrament visited Newark Catholic to experience what it's like to be a Green Wave. St. Vincent students planned to join as well but sadly missed the field trip due to a weather-related two-hour delay.

Students started the day watching part of the final rehearsal for NC's winter drama performance: Seussical the Musical. From there, they split into small groups for tours of the school led by drama club members, then wrapped up their day in the gym with lunch and remarks from NC staff members.

Campus Ministry

March for Life 2026

Last week, NC Campus Minister, Chris Grieb, along with 12 NC students made the trip to Washington DC for the National March for Life. Thursday, the students joined others across the Diocese of Columbus for Mass with Bishop Fernandes at the Pope Saint John Paul II National Shrine. Then Friday morning, the group celebrated Mass in the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception before uniting with tens of thousands of supporters of the Pro-Life movement on the National Mall for the March for Life. This trip is a beautiful example of our call to witness to the defense of human life at all stages and the dignity of the human person.

Visual and Performing Arts

Congratulations Seussical Cast!

What a show! The hard work, dedication and amazing talent was on full display this past weekend! A huge shout-out to the 19-student cast, the stage crew, orchestra, American Music Production class members, and the production staff, especially Director, Sadie Gastineau. It was truly a great display of Newark Catholic's amazing performing arts program. See NC's talent on display again during our spring cabaret performance May 9.
