Highlights from senior trip to Washinton D.C.

NC seniors Carmen Kozlowski and Joanna Bailey take part in a wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Last week, the NC class of 2026 took part in a beloved NC tradition--the senior class trip to Washington D.C. Highlights from the trip included a tour of the White House and Capital, a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and visits to several renowned museums, monuments and memorials. Be sure to ask any member of the senior class to share stories from their time together in our nation's capital!

Earn a 2025 tax credit by contributing to Emmaus Road before filing

Did you know you can provide scholarship dollars to Newark Catholic students at no net cost to you? All it takes is a contribution to the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund, which turns into scholarship dollars for Newark Catholic students. As a bonus, you will receive a tax credit in the amount you contributed, up to $750 individually and $1,500 married, filing jointly.

If you give just before you file, you’ll likely see your debit and credit within

weeks of each other, possibly even in the same month. In other words, you’ll

get back what you gave in a short period of time.
