Tri-school mass with Bishop Fernandes

Students from Newark Catholic, St. Francis and Blessed Sacrament gathered yesterday for their annual tri-school mass traditionally held during Catholic Schools Week, which was postponed to this week due to snow in February.

Tune into next week's Wednesday Wave for a recap of all the Catholic Schools Week festivities!

General School News & Information

The Newark Catholic community mourns the loss of staff member Braden (Brady) Thress. The news of Brady's unexpected death over the weekend weighs on us heavily. His positive presence radiated throughout the cafeteria each day; he was always certain to greet anyone who entered with his huge smile.

Please join the NC community as we lift in prayer Brady's wife, Carol (NC class of ‘89); sons Cormac (NC class of ‘23) and Cameron (current NC junior) and the extended Thress family.

To allow for faculty, staff and students to attend Brady's mass of Christian Burial, we will cancel school Monday, March 30.

Calling Hours

Sunday, March 29, 2-5 p.m. with a Vigil Service held at 4:30 p.m.

Eternal rest grant unto Braden, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Returning student enrollment is now open!

We can't wait to welcome our current families back to Newark Catholic for the 2026-2027 school year! To complete the returning student enrollment process, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log into your FACTS Family Portal account here using district code nchs-oh

For those who use FACTS at other schools, the system may auto-populate your district code, username and/or password from that school. Be sure to clear those fields before logging into your NC FACTS Family Portal to avoid issues.

Step 2: Go to the left-side Navigation Menu, click on Apply/Enroll; then click on Enrollment/Reenrollment. From there, you will see your student's name.

Please aim to complete the packet within the next two weeks if possible. Much of the information you entered last year will auto-populate, making the process quick and easy. As part of the process, you will be required to select a payment plan. As you complete the packet, your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later.

If you have any questions about returning student enrollment, please contact our office at 740-344-3594.
