With the Emmaus Road Scholarship, dollar-for-dollar Ohio tax credit, you convert your tax dollars into scholarship dollars. Designate a scholarship to help Newark Catholic students, and you get it back on your Ohio state taxes. You can earn a reduction of your tax liability of up to $750 individually and $1,500 filing jointly. Welcome back to Newark Catholic, Duncan Humphries!

We're excited to announce the addition of Duncan Humphries, NC class of 2019, to our faculty! Mr. Humphries will serve as our building sub and will be co-teaching in calculus and pre-calculus with Mrs. Calvert. Mr. Humpries earned his degree in physics from Denison University in 2025 where he served as a member of the men's ice hockey team.

He is passionate about science and looks forward to helping the school continue to bolster its STEM programming. In his spare time, Duncan plays an active role coaching skating at the Lou & Gib Reese Ice Arena.
