Brenda's Summer Recap
Throughout summer, Team Brenda was hard at work building a grassroots movement. We value person to person experiences and connections, especially when the district is as diverse as it is. Here are some of the summer highlights of the campaign in case you have been out of the loop.

June 28th marked the start of Brenda's Congressional campaign for Georgia's 7th District!
Brenda regularly visits cities such as Cumming, Lawrenceville, Suwanee, and Norcross so that she has the chance to truly listen about the voters' concerns.
July 12th - Brenda stood alongside the people of Atlanta, Lawrenceville, and Cumming as she spoke about the inhumane conditions occurring inside detention centers all around the Southwestern border.
July 20 - Brenda spoke at a Gwinnett Democrats Women meeting where they discussed issues surrounding the electoral process, and how to elect a good Democrat.
July 28th - Brenda delivered a powerful speech as a panelist at the 287(g) Community Meeting hosted by Gwinnett County Commissioner Marlene Fosque.
August 12 - Brenda was present at the Atlanta Jewish Committee event to discuss the alliance between the American Latino and Jewish communities!

August 17, Brenda was in Snellville to support Fair Fight's launch for voter protection and engagement!
Team Brenda is building a people powered movement! Canvassing is proven to be the most effective method for greater voter turnout. If you want to be part of this historic change, you do not want to miss out!

Join us for Bagels with Brenda once a month on Saturdays from 10am-12pm. This is a chance to personally meet Brenda to bring up the issues that concern you most. Bring a friend, and those burning questions about the issues in your community.

The first meeting will be held August 31, 2019 at 108 Colony Park Dr. Suite 100 Cumming, GA 30040. We are excited to see you there!
