How are you as we continue to stay safe at home ?

Our staff meets daily by video conference so we can remind ourselves that we are not alone and that we are still connected by our passion for the work we do in our community. The new skills we all are learning about virtual meetings will change how we gather in the future; however, nothing can replace (nor should replace) the magic of the live performance or arts experience.

And although we are in touch, the uncertainty about the future of our arts community is unnerving. How will things look on the other side?

I was quoted in today's Knowhere Treasure Coast Briefing about the uncertainly facing the arts and cultural sector and expressed that although seeing some of my favorite performers, museums and productions on my home computer screen was nice for now, it doesn't replace the magic that happens live. But until the time when we can safely gather together, we will continue sharing content and encouraging you, the audience, to get in front of your screens to watch, listen and enjoy...

Stay well. Stay healthy. And stay in touch.
The Arts Foundation for Martin County believes that a strong arts and cultural sector actively contributes to the economic vitality and is central to a strong quality of life of the community. The global pandemic, COVID-19, threatens the stability of our economy and our way of life.

In response to the crisis, the Arts Foundation created the MARTIN COUNTY ARTIST RELIEF FUND as a personal emergency relief fund to support Martin County creative professionals (artists in music, theatre, dance, literature, and the visual arts) whose creative work has been affected.

The response to this fund has been remarkable. Gifts already total more than $3,500 and we just started accepting gifts on Monday. Thank you .

Every gift to the Artist Relief Fund will impact an individual artist. Every gift is meaningful and makes a tremendous difference as a vote of encouragement to your neighbors who enrich this vibrant arts community you love! It's not too late to be a part of this growing support network for our local artists. Click HERE to make a gift!
