Wednesday luncheon

Mike Oberlander will host the monthly Seneca County Republican luncheon on Wednesday, March 10 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the back room at Fort Ball Pizza, 91 N. Washington St., Tiffin. Everyone is welcome, and you can come and go as your schedule permits. The buffet is closed, so you will need to order off the menu. Mike says “Our attendance has been quite sparse since we resumed these luncheons, and apathy is not going to win us elections going forward. We need people to show up and to reward Fort Ball Pizza for continuing to supply us with the free back room. Thanks, and hope to see you there, as well as many others.”

Fremont dinner March 29

Seneca County Chairman Chris Widman has announced we are not doing a Lincoln Day Dinner this year due to the pandemic. But our friends next door have announced “Congressman Jim Jordan will be the keynote speaker at the Sandusky County Republican Party Lincoln Reagan Hayes Day Dinner. This event will be on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 6:30 pm at Anjulinas in Fremont.” Tickets are $35, available from Chairman Justin Smith at 419-559-8386 or email.

Lu Damschroder

Lu Damschroder has passed away at the age of 97. Both her late husband Gene and son Rex have served Seneca County in the Ohio House. Lu attended many of our Republican events for decades. Here is her obituary. Please remember her and the family in your prayers.
