Though we are very sad to miss another Wednesday evening of faith formation and fellowship, the Knollwood staff feels it’s best to cancel all Wednesday night programs this week.
Our campus has been plowed, temperatures have warmed up a bit, and roads continue to improve, but the concern remains that black ice and persistent snow/ice covering secondary roads will make for potentially hazardous travel home from church after Wednesday night programs. Not to mention, a rain and snow mix is now a forecasted possibility for Wednesday evening! Safety for all is our first priority.
However, we know that the Knollwood community is eager to connect after days of disrupted rhythms, and so are we! All ages are invited to come to campus on Wednesday afternoon for the following opportunities for fellowship:
-
3-5 PM: Open Gym for kids and youth, WCC (Parents and caregivers must supervise.)
-
4- 4:45 PM: Children’s Choirs (K-5) and Youth Choir rehearsal, Building B/Choir Room
-
4-4:45 PM: Bible study for adults led by Katharine Martin, WCC Community Room
-
5 PM: Chancel Choir rehearsal, Choir Room
For safety, we ask everyone to use only the following entrances: the main entrance to the WCC and the dining room entrance to building B (go through the breezeway into the library entrance to access building A).
Sara and Naomi are at a conference for the next few days, so if you have any questions, please contact Rozanna at rozanna@knollwood.org or Katharine at katharine@knollwood.org.
