All CSA Shares have been Pro=Rated for the remainder of the season!

Opening Your Box
When receiving your box you will notice that it comes in good condition. We ask that you help us keep it that way, so we may continue to use it many times this season.

Note that the top of your box has a crease. This crease is where you should begin to open the box.

Be careful and push back towards the crease of your box to open it. Try not to break the box in any way, as that will shorten its life span and increase our costs.

Open the box by pushing towards the crease until the tongue comes out of the L-shaped holes.

Carefully open the remaining folds on the top of your box.

Pull out the contents of your box by removing the entire bag. "Please reuse this bag as a trash bag in your bathroom or office after you are finished with it."

Place the bag of vegetables into your refrigerators crisper drawer for best storage.

Please leave your empty box at your doorstep the following week for our driver to pick up. "Please do not leave us any bags, rubber bands, clam shells or any packing material, just the box."

We have been getting a good amount of rain this season, which helps in some ways and hurts in others. Either way, there is not much we can do about that except to keep pushing forward. Our Field Crew is out there in the heat, rain, cold and whatever else comes our way and they are doing a fine job. We want everyone to know how proud we are of our field crew of Eric, Anthony and Dan. We are continuing to work with Boris to help get him up to speed and we have high hopes that he will become a crew leader within the next few years.

The ladies of the farm are also helping out so much at the Farmers Markets. Phyllis, Mary and Jenny are manning our tables at 3 different markets this season and doing a very nice job. They too have been at the mercy of Mother Nature and have to deal with sudden Rain Storms at the Markets too. We appreciate all they are doing and are certain that our customers are having a wonderful experience dealing with these wonderful ladies.

Matt has been very busy managing everything. He claims that now is the time for our Community to step it up and purchase a Winter CSA Share. He has seen enough troubles in the middle of the summers past to know that we are too busy to make house calls for sales. He expects that our CSA Members will do their part and continue to support us for the fall/winter but is not certain that they understand that now is the time to do it, not in September. By then it will be too late and that is the problem that we faced last year.

We would really appreciate that everyone purchase their Winter Season CSA share now! This is the time of the year when we spend loads of money on labor and we appreciate your financial contributions more than ever.

We must keep the money flowing in from the CSA, Farmers Markets, Restaurants and Wholesalers. We cannot afford any lulls in the cash flow...

What are you doing this weekend? Why not come to the Brigantine Farmers Market and visit our booth on Saturday.

Don't forget to come to the Margate Farmers Markets on Thursdays!!!
The Ladies of our Farm have been doing an excellent job providing 3 Farmer's Markets a week. "click on this picture and get to know our Farmer's Market Ladies"
Keeping it Jersey Fresh

The Margate Farmers Market is held on Thursdays!!!! Come and visit us from 8:30 until noon in the parking lot of Steve and Cookie's Restaurant...

Everything that we grow, we grow with pride, so sit back and Enjoy the Fruits of our Labor.
The tools of our trade.

Every evening Matt carefully sharpens the blades of our knives so that or field crew can pick all of those wonderful vegetables. When Eric began picking and saw how fast we must move to get things accomplished, he said "This is Primal" and we could not agree with him more.

Each day at sunrise, those guys hit our fields with fire in their eyes! They skillfully mow through those rows as quick as fire to assure that everything gets back to the packing house before it gets too hot.

"They are killing it out there!!!"
