Week 2 Highlights:

03/11, 07:30 PM EST: Philosophy of Mantra Meditation - Swami Ma Tripurashakti Bharati
In many Traditions the sincere student is linked to a sacred vibration that will gradually blossom into the student's best friend, guide, and bridge. The vibration of mantra can lead the student from the current identification into the depth of Being, Silence and Love, where all is One.
How and why this is such a powerful connection will be explored in our session by diving into the philosophy behind mantra science. The sacred journey of mantra is a path gifted to us by the sages… Ooh, let the heart long for that embrace of full surrender into mantra.
Swami Ma Tripurashakti Bharati: Born in the Netherlands, she, like many others all over the globe, had a whispering longing in her heart that guided her from early age to search for an indescribable something. When she entered Swami Rama's Ashram, Sadhana Mandir, for the first time, the whisper told her that she finally found the place that could answer her longing. Within a week the decision was made to leave her previous life behind and fully dedicate it to sadhana only. Lovingly trained, guided and initiated in 2012 into sannyasa by Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati, she currently lives at Swami Rama's ashram Sadhana Mandir to deepen her practice and facilitate monthly retreats.
03/12, 09:00 AM EST: Mind and Mindfield - Michael Kissener
We will take a look into the fundamental yogic understanding about mind, mindfield, its functions, formation of habits - and how to create conducive tendencies that help us in reshaping and refining our personality on the path towards deeper understanding, integration and realization.
Michael Kissener
Michael Kissener: Michael Kissener is a part time hermit, a lifetime student of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, a disciple of Swami Rāma of the Himalayas and student of Swami Veda Bhāratī. He is also a student of Tulku Kyabje Dzogchen Pema Kalzang Rinpoche - Kham, Tibet. He was also the Austrian representative for the European Yoga Union (EYU) for over ten years. Michael is a Mantra initiator in the Himalayan Tradition and a member of the Adhyātma Samiti (spiritual committee) of AHYMSIN.
03/13, 10:00 AM EDT: Mantra as Word and Vehicle of Consciousness - Swami Ritavan Bharati with Pierre Lefebvre “Pt. Priyadarshana”
This session continues to explore mantra as revealed sound, sacred word, and vehicle of consciousness through Vyasa’s commentary on Om in the Yoga Sutras along with insights on Advaita Vedanta revealing Atman in mantra-smarana and manasa-japa. Experience the refinements in the practice of the Ganesha-gayatri, the new sangha mantra, with reference to the use of mala, and the process of manana.
Swami Ritavan, MS, E-RYT-500, Ashram Pramukha and Spiritual Guide: has lived a life dedicated to serving Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati since 1970. After having been initiated at the age of 20, he transited through all the three Ashrams of Vedic life (Brahmacharya, Grihastha, and Vanaprastha) under the direct guidance of Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati. He was then initiated into Sanyasa in 2007. He has guided numerous silence and meditation retreats throughout the world and has been instrumental in guiding the International HYT-TTP. He is also a Mantra Initiator within the Tradition of the Himalayan Masters.
Pierre Lefebvre, M.A., E-RYT-500, YACEP, Yogacharya FFY:

Pierre is certified by both the Fédération Francophone de Yoga and Yoga Alliance and is a member of AHYMSIN’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, as well as the HYT-TTP Manager.
