Dear Families and  Faculty ,

As we move into Week 3 of Remote school, we hope that you and your extended family are healthy and settling into the routine. Our number one concern is the health our community. We hope you are all well and please know that we are here to support you.

From now on, we will be writing weekly updates, unless otherwise necessary. There are many academic and community updates in this email so please read all the way through. Please visit our school website  and Facebook page for daily updates. This week, starting on Thursday, we are going to be returning to sending out Keshet on bi-weekly  basis. Additionally, the administration is working on finalizing our newly redesigned website and planning a Spring Virtual Open House for 2020-2021 school year to take place after Passover, stay tuned for details.

Report cards will be distributed this week. Due to our school closure we are unable to send report cards by mail. Parents of students in Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade will receive a report card by email. Middle School report cards (Grades 5-8) will be on Renweb on Tuesday morning.

N2 - PreK Early Childhood schedules have been updated and you can expect to receive an an email from Mrs. Scher with details.

Given the tremendous rise in confirmed COVID-19 cases in our area and nationally, we  unfortunately have to inform you that a member of our Kehillah has tested positive. The individual has not had physical contact within our school since March 12, bringing us to the two-week mark this past Thursday. At this point, it is likely that each of us has  been in contact with someone with COVID-19 and it is crucial to shelter-in-place in accordance with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy's order. We want to avoid unintentionally  spreading the virus or contracting it to the best of our abilities. At this time, social distancing and proper hygiene are the only  things we can continue doing for our physical wellbeing. Please continue to inform us if you have symptoms or test positive. We continue to be in  touch with and receive updates from the Department of Health, DOE State Officials, and members of Prizmah and we will be sharing important updates as they become available. We wish everyone in our Kehillah who is not well a complete and speedy Refuah Sheleima .

We look forward to catching up with you all tomorrow evening, at  8:30pm. Please use this Zoom Room. Be ready to share your grows and glows and spend a fun evening with us.

On Thursday, April 5th , we would like to invite everyone to participate in Academies @ GBDS Spirit Day . All students, families and faculty members are encouraged to wear their favorite GBDS swag or school colors (navy, light blue, and white) to Remote School.
