Hey there Renee!

We're winding down our updates with just one more next week.

Please enjoy Week 3's updates! Each update leads us to a VERY EXCITING announcement.

Be sure to watch your inbox each Monday! Forward to friends who believe like YOU AND I that women deserve a chance to triumph over trauma and a place to become whole.

SPECIAL VISITS

In January we welcomed Stan Hanson, one of our county's extremely generous philanthropists and Matt MClain, County Commissioner. It was a joy sharing the enormous God story of how all this came into being. Both men listened intently and asked all kinds of question.

We'd like to express our thanks to Shelia Arnett for sharing our mission with them and arranging this tour.

Also in January we welcomed Allison Campbell, Marion County School Board, and Jay Musleh and Barry Mansfield, City of Ocala Council Members. We appreciated their taking time from their busy schedules to come see our property and hear about our mission.

Thanks again to Shelia Arnett for arranging this tour.

In February these sweet, supportive ladies came to meet us and brought $908.00 with them! They are the Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study from Central Christian Church and have supported us with various donations since we opened our doors.

On Valentine's Day our ladies were blessed by some homemade valentines thanks to Ashley Williams and her Ocala Homeschool Bible Study Group. They reminded our ladies that Jesus loves them and has them on the hearts of women they don't even know!

Also in February we were blessed to receive a grant from the Ocala Elks #286 to replace 4 of our beds and bedding! They were in, assembled, and out in an hour and a half! Now that's teamwork and we are so grateful.

Thank you to Keith Gage for coordinating this project!

March 23rd we welcomed City Light Church for a workday! This group has certainly been a huge help the past two years getting our grounds spruced up and easier to maintain. They trimmed bushes, hung swings, pressure washed & painted, and leveled two areas with fill and rock.

Thank you to our City Light Family!

Also in March Jesus House Ocala treated us to a chili dinner, smores, worship, and testimonies! This was our first official campfire sing and it was great!

Thank you to Brian and Becky Till for wanting to come share with us!

May started strong with a tour from the Stiletto Network Group. I'd sat beside Angie at a wedding in March and we talked about our shared passions for helping women and the special needs of mental health & recovery. Thank you, Angie Umpleby for bringing your friends to meet us!

JUST 1 MORE UPDATE TO COME!

We are so happy to have toured so many wonderful men and women from our community.

Next Monday will be about "where they are now!" We'll share what a few former residents are up to!

We exist because women deserve a chance to triumph over trauma and a place to become whole.

Renee and Trey Arnett
