Greetings!

It's the fourth week of e-learning for the Justice for Women's Tapestry Thread's E-Learning and Zoom Discussion Event.

In this video interview, Pastor Kayla Keilholtz asks population health specialists, Maria Mitchell and Jess Harmon, questions about the struggles of women’s health care and education in rural southwest Virginia. The video ends with Maria and Jess responding to the question: how can faith communities help support women’s health and education?

You'll receive an email later this week with the information for the Zoom discussion on Monday, December 9 at 7pm.

Peace,

Pastor Colleen Hetrick

Week 4 Video Interview

Reflection Questions:

  • Were any of these answers surprising to you? Why or why not?
  • What would you like to know more about in regards to women’s healthcare and education, especially around the concern of lack of access to care?
