Week 3 finally brought us the summer we are used to here on Cape Cod! Sunny, 75 degrees with a nice breeze proved to be the perfect recipe for a week of friendly competition, capped off by GREEN & WHITE DAY!
We are thrilled to have brought back some camp favorites this week, as we had our first Friday Morning Assembly and our first of two Improv Shows of the summer! We have recorded both of these events so that you can join in all of the camp magic by watching on our Instagram.
This week, we will be displaying our creativity through TIE-DYE! Campers will have the opportunity to Tie-Dye a BDC t-shirt and show off their creations at our Friday Morning Assembly!

All campers and staff will be required to wear facial coverings while entering campus, until they are in their cohorts, as well as indoors, off-campus, as needed, and while riding transportation.

Campers and staff will socially distance themselves whenever possible. Program spaces are designed to facilitate 3’ of distance between cohorts. Indoor program spaces are designed to facilitate 3’ of distance between campers and staff. Use of communal space will be staggered, when possible, to allow for distancing and cleaning.

BDC offers Semi-Private Swim Lessons in our pool to campers enrolled in BDC programming. Certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors coach your child for ½ hour of dedicated swim instruction after the camp day, from 4:00-4:30.

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? We are excited to offer BDC campers and their families the opportunity to experience SCUBA diving in our pool. Discover Scuba Diving is an easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

BDC is thrilled to welcome rising 10th & 11th graders into our new Camper Leader Program for summer 2021! These Camper Leaders will participate in training sessions targeting social and emotional development, communication skills, and a variety of other life skills, then practice these skills with their peers during our 6-day or 3-day sessions.
