Week 49: March 14, 2026

The exercise voted most powerful by our clients

,

One of the most effective ways to learn is soliciting honest input from those around us. Now that you're almost halfway into your MBA experience, it's a great time to revisit the exercise that has been voted most powerful by our clients - PeerView (formerly Personal Branding Exercise). You'll have new friends that can offer powerful new perspectives.

Most importantly, you'll get some great ideas to continue to strengthen your brand as you head into your internship and second year of school!

The 100 Week Sprint team

To-do's this week
Got 5 minutes? Ask your classmates how they would describe you, and if it's changed at all from their first impression of you. This should be a helpful start as you consider how your brand is portrayed!

Got 30 minutes? Start PeerView and identify ways to strengthen your current brand during your internship / second year, or create a strategy on how you might rebrand yourself.

Got an hour? Explore additional opportunities you could take to strengthen your current (or new) brand for the summer and your second year, such as volunteering opportunities, leadership roles, networking groups, etc.

Revisit PeerView

It is time to transition your personal branding exercise to PeerView. This transition will give you a real-time perspective on your brand and will make it easier to highlight how you've grown during your MBA experience!

Read below for ways you can leverage the tool at this stage as you prepare to impress your internship colleagues.

Prepare for your internship

Those of you heading into summer internships, will want to evaluate how you want to project your image to your colleagues, and what you aim to learn during this experience.

Even if you can't achieve all your goals (i.e. due to limited networking opportunities from working at home), consider the specific aspects of your internship that stay true to your brand.

Gear up for second year

As you think about the leadership opportunities, coursework, volunteering, and more, ensure the activity aligns with your personal brand (as prescribed by PeerView). If not, consider if there is something else you can do with your time that pays off more for you!
