BREWSTER DAY CAMP | August 15, 2021 | Vol. 40 Issue 14
THE AMAZING RACE
Dear BDC Family & Friends,

Week 6 was HOT HOT HOT! With temperatures in the high 80's all week and near triple-digit humidity levels, life on our campus last week slowed down. We had walking days - where we ask all groups to only walk throughout the day - and extra times to get in the pool, play water games, and run through sprinklers. Our week culminated in a long-time camp favorite, GOLD RUSH! Our pods competed to collect the most gold around campus while avoiding the sneaky bandits. Congratulations to our BASE TEAM #2 for beating the bandits and successfully collecting the most gold!

Believe it or not, next week is our last week of the summer. Week 7 is a celebration of all of the magic that we have enjoyed throughout the summer at 3570 Main St. As we share our GRADitude for all of that we have been able to enjoy throughout BDC'21, we learn how we can share our Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace with others. This week will culminate with a new special event at BDC, THE AMAZING RACE, where teams will complete challenges, showcasing their teamwork, problem-solving, and sportsmanship skills across campus.

To see a behind-the-scenes look into camp this summer, follow us on social media! We are excited to be live-streaming our Friday Morning Assemblies, Talent Shows, Improv Shows, and Players Performances each week. If you miss them live - you can catch them on our Instagram page and watch them anytime!

Sending you an abundance of Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace!

Sincerely,
Daniel Michel
Director
