Be sure to register now for shopping time next weekend as a maximum of 20 shoppers can be at the sale at one time and nearly all slots are taken. Also, Cindy and Mike Reinhardt continue to look for new volunteers, particularly ones who can lift boxes of books for shoppers or can assist Mike and Cindy. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in helping with the sales, contact Cindy soon (Link below.) Book sale hours: Friday, 3 to 8, and Saturday, 9 to 1.

Wednesday Study Class:
The Parables

The Easter study class continues on Wednesdays. The class is based on a Parables series by Dr. Garwood Anderson, who currently serves as President and Provost of Nashotah House in Wisconsin, and is the author of the class materials. The class is offered via Zoom. Class materials and other, including an audio file for each class, are available on the parish website under "Sermons/Recordings." Consider joining the class group this Wednesday!
Lunch Bunch ReturnsVirtually!

Parishioners, especially Charlie's Lunch Bunch aficionados, are invited to gather at their PCs, tablets, or phones twice a month on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. to visit over lunch. The initial dates are May 4 and 18 and June 2 and 16. The Zoom link will be shared prior to May 4. Prior parishioners or clergy are welcome!

  • Bishop Election: Listening sessions have been set up for the Bishop Election process. In-person and Zoom options are available for each deanery. Darrow sessions will be on Saturday, May 1, at St. Michael’s, O’Fallon from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Zoom Monday, May 10, from 6-8 p.m. For more information and to register to attend, please visit www.episcopalspringfield.org/listening-sessions-registration/.

  • The spring United Thank Offering Ingathering will occur on May 9 and 16. Envelopes are available in the narthex. Contributions may be placed in the offering plate on these two Sundays, mailed to the church, or made online (above). Just be sure to identify your gift is for the UTO.

  • The Bohn plant sale is currently closed and will reopen on May 18.
