Welcome Back to School

Dear La Sierra and La Vista Families,

We welcome everyone back for the 2025–2026 school year. Our focus is on connecting and inspiring our students. We know that when students feel connected to their teachers, they are more engaged in their learning and more likely to reach educational goals.

Students succeed when they know they are seen, valued, and supported. Strong connections between our staff and our students build resilience and inspire a lifelong love of learning. That’s why our staff is committed to creating an environment where every student feels they belong.

It was great to see our students return to school and our ASB students creating that first connection as they greeted students on campus and held fun activities in the quad. It was also great to see our ATP students return to school not only at La Vista and La Sierra, but also at our various satellite classrooms.

Teachers PD

The La Vista/La Sierra theme for 2025-2026 is Connect to Inspire and our staff is ready to strengthen our connection with students and work to be an inspiration in their lives. Our staff had two days of Professional development where we learned how to better connect and inspire the students we serve.

OCL CAMP

ASB students had a great time strengthening their leadership skills at this year's Orange County Leadership Camp held at UC Santa Barbara. Take a look at what they did at this year leadership training.
