Food Drive
There are only a few days left to bring in your non-perishable food items or cash donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Cash donations can be dropped off in the office. Thursday, December 19th will be the last day we will be collecting.
Our students are excited and ready for the big shows this week! Please click on the link below to check out the schedule for afternoon and evening performances on Tues Dec 17 and Wed Dec 18 this week. Don't forget to bring a can of food with you for the Food Drive!
Our last Hot Lunch of the calendar year will be Panago Pizza on Friday Dec 19. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers for organizing our Hot Lunch Program for us.
Many students choose to honour staff at Christmas with a small gift of appreciation. Instead of a personal gift, please consider a different way of showing how much you care by sending a card to your teacher with a small donation to our Harambee student.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help out with our Book Fair this year. This event provides a great opportunity to share books with your family while supporting the library. The book fair will be open Mon-Thurs in the library. Please click on the link below for the schedule.
Our next Zero-Waste Lunch Day is on Wed Dec 18. We are getting better every month with respect to reducing the amount of waste we produce in our lunches. Thank you to our Green Team for keeping us focussed on this goal.
Our first day of skating for Grade 1-3 students will be the first Wednesday we are back at school in January! Don't forget your helmet, gloves, snow pants, and skates (unless you are borrowing some).
