SUPPORT CCDS
If you have any older Box Tops for Education that you have cut from grocery products, please bring them to the school as soon as possible so that they can be counted.

If you shop online at Sam's Club, Target, or Walmart you can send a copy of your electronic receipt to: receipts@boxtops4education.com for credit.
Each year, Canton Country Day School sends out information on our Annual Giving Campaign. It is necessary for all Independent Schools to have an Annual Giving Campaign to aid in the education of your child(ren). Annual Giving is very different from the Parents Association’s Great Escapes Auction. Great Escapes is an all school auction (fundraiser) that funds parent association programs and events. Annual Giving aids in the education of your child(ren) by:

  • Off-setting tuition costs/keeps tuition low
  • Keeping our teachers’ salaries competitive with those in the public sector
  • Maintenance and building updates that are vital around our campus and in our school
  • Helps defray operating costs

CCDS would like to keep giving as simple and easy as possible for you and there are a variety of ways to give:

You can make a recurring or one-time pledge and have it deducted directly from your bank account, or charged to your credit card. For example, you can set up your pledge for $17 a month from December 2019 to June 2020, you will donate $102 towards our annual giving! Remember, no gift is too small to get us closer to 100% participation. Please consider giving your donation early. Use one of the methods above to make your donation today!

IN THE CLASSROOM
Help the Junior Kindergarten class collect aluminum can tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron! Every pound of tabs creates revenue to help house families in need during their medical care. You can deposit these tabs in the red bin outside of the Junior Kindergarten classroom.
The project is ongoing all year and it's an easy way to get the whole school involved in a service project where money/material donations are not needed. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!  Laura Roth
Middle School Field Trip
Grades 6, 7 and 8
The CCDS Middle School students arrived in Niagara Falls, New York, on Monday, November 18th and enjoyed lunch at the Rainforest Cafe followed by a time for all students to view the falls. Everyone seems to be having a wonderful time.

Place Value Party in Second Grade
Second Grade celebrated a week long place value party! They are focusing on 3-digit numbers. They made cakes with hundreds, tens, and ones. Then, counted their base-10 blocks and wrote it in standard, expanded, and word form. They also added and subtracted 10 and 100 from their number. #mathisapartyatCCDS
