Happy New Year
There is a great deal to be excited about as we welcome students back to school in the year 2020! Please check out our calendar of events at the bottom of this email for just some of the activities taking place over the next few weeks. We look forward to seeing our students smiling faces as they return to school on Monday.
Skating Starts this Week
Our first day of skating for Grade 1-3 students is this week on Wed Jan 8! Don't forget your helmet, gloves, snow pants, and skates (unless you are borrowing some). Grade 4-5 students first day of skating will be next Tues Jan 14.

Grade 5 Basketball
Grade 5 basketball practices will be starting this week. No experience is necessary and all grade 5's are welcome, and encouraged, to participate in this extra-curricular opportunity. For more information please contact Mr. Ritchie or Mrs. Menzies.


Book Fair Volunteers
A huge thank you Mrs. Reed and all of volunteers who helped out with our Book Fair this year. This event provides a great opportunity to share books with your family while supporting the library.

Breakfast Program Volunteers Needed
The Breakfast program is looking for volunteers. It is important we have parent help to continue the program so if you have some spare time in the mornings, it would be so appreciated. Cross Country Skiing
Our cross country skis will be getting a workout this month some of our primary students will be joining their class on Field Trips to Larch Hills for some ski lessons. Students will also have a chance to participate in the annual Pirate Loppet on Jan 31. Remind your child to listen to the announcements more info about the loppet in the coming weeks.
