The Hillcrest School Talent show is taking place on Thursday March 7 @ 1:00pm. Parents with students participating in the show are welcome to attend. Thank you to all of our students who had the courage to share their talents in the class Talent Shows that have been taking place over the past week.
District Art Fair
The Annual SD83 District Art Fair is taking place at Picadilly Mall this week. Be sure to stop by and check out the Hillcrest display. Thank you to Mrs. Wentworth for organizing our team of 25 students who will be participating in the workshops on Wednesday March 6.
Next week (March 11-14) our students will be participating in our PAC sponsored gymnastics program. Please remind your child that they will need to bring 100 % cotton socks or bare feet, T-shirt, and shorts or jogging pants to participate.
Chess Tournament
Good luck to our Chess Club players who will be participating in a Chess Tournament at South Broadview next Wed March 13. A huge thank you to Mr. Caves for the many hours he has spent teaching our students how to play the game.
Basketball Jamborees

to our Grade 5 Boys and Girls Basketball teams on an excellent season! Both teams will be participating in the year end Jamborees next week at SMS. Thank you to our coaches (Mrs. Mueller, Mrs. Menzies and Mrs. Tyssen) for providing such a positive experience for our students.
