Sept 14 - Sept 18, 2020
It was wonderful to see most of our students back at school this week! Hopefully your children came home feeling as good about the first two days as we did.

I would like to thank our fantastic staff for the extra thought and work required this year to ensure our start-up was successful. I would also like to thank all of our parents for your continued support and your patience and understanding around our email issues this week.

Please note, there will be no staggered drop-off this week as we begin our regular drop-off schedule from 7:50-8:08 am. Parents should watch for a paper newsletter coming home soon. The newsletter will contain information on school fees, online consent forms and other important start-up items. If you think you may have missed something, don't forget to check our website for the most recent information.

Update on Email Issues
As many of you are probably aware, we have been experiencing issues over the past few weeks with some of our emails not being delivered. We recently discovered that schools across the Province have been having similar problems.

Health Check
A reminder that parents must compete the Health Check below with their child each day before school drop-off.  To keep each other safe parents should not bring their child to school if they answer β€œyes” to any of the questions on the Heath Check. Please note that students do not have to bring a paper copy of the heath check to school with them, it just needs to be completed verbally with a parent before they leave for school.

Breakfast Program
As of Monday Sept 14 our Breakfast Program will be up and running in the mornings! The door opens at 7:50am and any student that is hungry is welcome to attend. Students should line up using their "Eagle Wings" at the Multi-purpose room door for our "grab and go" style breakfast.Thank you to our wonderful team of Breakfast Program Volunteers! Any parents able to help out should contact

Pack It In, Pack It Out
We will be implementing a "Pack it in, Pack it out" policy this year to reduce the daily lunch waste produced and minimize the potential cross-contamination that can occur when students use recycling and compost bins at school. Parents should pack student lunches in easy to open, reusable containers. Students will be asked to bring home any garbage, recyclables and compost items included as part of their lunch.
