Trivia Question of the Week

Congratulations to

Jocelynn Cooper, Autumn Matthews, Cindi Maurice, Patsy Ray, Ellen Kay, Jane Tilleman, Lauro Esquilona III, Tracey Christilles, Karen Frantz-Fry, Bonnie Baldwin, Patrick Gilbert, Rebekah Budziszews, Brittany Ward, Joanna Blau, and Joy Kirk who all knew the answer to last week's trivia question:

In a first-of-its-kind move, a popular theme park will offer a discrete way for visitors to alert staff throughout the park that they may need extra help even if their disability isn’t apparent. It will be the first theme park to participate in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program. Starting in early 2025, visitors to the park will be able to pick up a Sunflower wristband to indicate that they may need additional help, understanding or extra time because of a disability. The offering is voluntary and intended for people with invisible disabilities, which park officials said can include neurological, cognitive and neurodevelopmental issues as well as physical, visual, auditory, sensory and processing difficulties, among others. What is the theme park?

Answer:

SESAME PLACE, PHILADELPHIA, PA

This Week's Trivia Question:

According to a report from the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this behavior among American teens remains a big threat, with more than a third (34%) saying they've had it happen to them over the past year. According to the report's authors, this behavior occurs when a person is "exposed to aggressive behavior repeatedly over time by one or more people and is unable to defend themself." Girls were more likely to report this happening to them than boys, with rates of 38.3% and 29.9%. But one group was hit especially hard by this behavior: LGBTQ+ kids. The CDC data shows that almost half (47.1%) of sexual or gender minority teenagers say they've had this happen to them over the past year. What is the behavior of concern?

If you know the answer to this week's trivia questions, email it to us at contactus@naset.org by November 26, 2024. If you are correct, you will be acknowledged in next week's NASET's Week in Review
