Loud music, illegal barbecuing, double parked cars, and unmaintained parks remain problems for our neighborhoods and we have received many complaints about them. Councilman Mark Gjonaj and our office has been in communication with NYPD 45th and 49th Precinct Captains Fraser and Natiw, Harbor Patrol, NYPD Community Affairs officers, NYPD NCOs and NYC Parks Department, and we have their commitment to address these issues by enforcing summonses and more.

As Chairman of the NYC Council Small Business Committee, it is one of Councilman Mark Gjonaj's priorities to fight for our local mom and pop shops in NYC. We must do our part to shop locally and show support for our local small businesses so they can continue to thrive and provide services and jobs in our communities.
