Maundy Thursday, April 17: Dinner Church at 6pm. Click HERE to register. See information below.

Good Friday, April 18: 6pm Tenebrae service in the Sanctuary. See information below.

Easter Sunday, April 20

10am Contemporary Service: A lively celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ with praise music & a message. The Toddler Room (Pre-K and younger) will be available. There will be no Sunday School on this date. Children are welcome in the service.

11:30am Cathedral Service: This service will feature the 5-piece woodwind group Revolution Winds, traditional hymns, & a message. Children are welcome in the service.

Both services held in the Sanctuary & livestreamed with Communion served.

Maundy Thursday Dinner Church Service

Thursday, April 17

6pm in Christian Fellowship Hall

Maundy Thursday is the holiday that celebrates Jesus giving Communion to His disciples over a Passover dinner. Gloria Dei is celebrating by throwing a huge soup potluck. Come hungry! And be sure to bring a friend.

Want to show off your favorite soup recipe? Bring a crockpot to share as you are able. Click HERE to register.

This will be an evening of great discussion and community.

Good Friday Tenebrae Service

Friday, April 18

6pm in the Sanctuary

Gather in the Sanctuary or online for this powerful Tenebrae service with music and scripture readings.

Come early to go through the 12 Stations of the Cross artwork hanging up around the Sanctuary. Scan the QR code on each picture for a reading, questions, and a meditation.

Child care will be available for newborns through 5th grade. Children are welcome in the service.

OHAAT Delivery Volunteer Event

Saturday, April 19

8 – 11am

474 Pike Rd, Unit C, HV, PA 19006

Sign up to deliver much needed beds and everything needed for children in the Philly area to get a good night's sleep and thrive!

Delivery Volunteers arrive at 8am to load the truck and return by approximately 11am after delivering beds to families. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Minors will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Gloria Dei will collect the following for Bedtime Bags leading up to the event:

New Twin Sheets (most needed item)
New Pillows
New Blankets
New Individual Children’s Toothbrushes

Maintenance Manager

Part Time Position

This person serves the church by managing the care and maintenance of the church building, grounds, and equipment. This position oversees the day-to-day and long-term maintenance and operation of the church. When necessary, the Maintenance Manager will assume the responsibilities of the Property Manager in their absence. The position averages 20 hours per week.

Weight Loss and Maintenance Through Behavior Modification and Accountability

New members are currently being accepted to our program starting on May 22, 2025 at Gloria Dei Church.

Applicants must have at least 20 pounds or more to lose to qualify.

Reserve your spot no later than April 30 to take advantage of of our Spring Promotion. For the entire month of April, the $25 Application Fee will be waived.
