Welcome to Egg Rock

The opening reception for "Welcome to Egg Rock" was a dazzling success! Over 250 people walked through the Clifford Gallery to celebrate the Audubon's Seabird Institute's 50-year Atlantic Puffin conservation effort. Mother-daughter artists Pippin Frisbie-Calder and Terrie Frisbie transformed the gallery into a replica of Eastern Egg Rock, and hope visitors to this immersive installation will be inspired by the story of conservation in Maine and will leave feeling empowered to change the future. The exhibition is open all summer long and we hope to see you soon!

If you weren't able to attend the reception, we're sharing photos from the event right here.

Care to volunteer?

We have a current need for gallery sitters to greet guests. It's terrific when visitors encounter a smiling face as they enter the building, and a lovely way to share your enthusiasm for Waterfall Arts! If you can help out a time or two, a quick orientation will prepare you to answer occasional questions about the exhibit, the building, the public studios, and the organization.

Available gallery slots are Saturdays from either 11AM - 1PM or 1 - 3PM, now through the end of August. Please call the office or email us to sign up! (info@waterfallarts.org)
