UPPER SCHOOL STUDENTS & THE FLEECE CONNECTION

On April 9, upper school students will invest their energy and compassion in a BLANKET-MAKING WORKSHOP led by Fleece Connection. Held on-campus at Mt. Nebo, this meaningful (and super-fun) hands-on event, will surely inspire students and help them on the journey to connect with their God-given potential and direction for life.

Our goal is that every student will be able to make their own blanket.

YOU CAN HELP REACH THE GOAL!

  • Shop & Drop: Buy two 2-yard lengths of fleece material* and drop the material off at the Mt. Nebo Campus main office. *Be sure to select material that would be appropriate for a man or a woman (plain, stripes, plaid, etc.)
OR
  • Donate the Cost of Material: Just CLICK HERE to donate. $25.00 covers the cost of material for one blanket. ANY DONATION AMOUNT is greatly appreciated. Fleece Connection will purchase the material and bring it to the event for an Eden student to make the blanket!

The upper school students are excited to be part of this event. And, we appreciate your generous support!

A MESSAGE FROM MRS. POWERS

Dear Parents,

Sixth grade students experienced a great, hands-on learning experience in Science class last week as they dissected frogs!

Enjoy a few PHOTOS HERE .

Yours in Christ,
Carrie A. Powers
Wexford Campus Principal
RECYCLE. REDUCE. REUSE.

Students were informed and entertained by a visit from magician Dan Kuniak at a school-wide assembly teaching the importance of being good stewards of the earth.

With engaging magic tricks, Dan emphasized the importance of recycling, and reducing the amount of trash with reusable containers.

During the assembly, Dan  made a glass disappear, created a tree out of newspaper , and most popular of all- recycled a live bird into a rabbit !

Ask your student what they learned and enjoy a few PHOTOS HERE
