Yoga on Tuesdays in the Zabor Room

Next Sessions are on December 2

Gentle Yoga at 10AM

Gentle Chair Yoga at 12PM

Please arrive 15 minutes early

Gentle Yoga is a 60-75 minute class. Please bring your own mat. If you do not have a mat, one can be provided.

Gentle Chair Yoga is a 45 minute class. No equipment or previous Yoga experience needed!

Both classes are led by JoAnne Monahan, a certified Kripalu and Chair Yoga Instructor.

If you are new to coming to Yoga, please email JoAnne before coming for the first time for information at jpmonahan92@gmail.com.

OHAAT Beds for Kids Fundraiser

FINAL WEEK!

We've reached our goal of 30 Beds!

Help us continue to raise funds so more children will wake up in their own bed on Christmas morning!

Gloria Dei is partnering with One House At A Time's Beds for Kids program this Christmas season to raise money to purchase beds and everything that goes along with getting a good night's sleep for children in the Philadelphia area.

Now through December 8, Gloria Dei’s Endowment Fund will match all donations made!

Join Feast of Justice for Volunteerpalooza!

Help Feast of Justice (FOJ) prepare & distribute food to over 1,500 families throughout this holiday season.

Volunteer on any of the following Saturdays & Sundays from 12:30-4:30pm:

December 7 &/or December 8
December 14 &/or December 15

FOJ needs help with:

Public-facing food distribution
Behind-the-scenes restocking & packing food boxes
Helping to transport food between our sites or to homebound members

Make a Casserole and/or Plate Meals

for Caring for Friends

This month's recipe is a Beef & Noodle Casserole. Bring your casserole with you to church on Sunday, December 8. Please label your casserole and leave it in the refrigerator in the Christian Fellowship Hall kitchen, NOT the freezer!

Meal Assembly will take place on Monday, December 9 at 9:30am in Christian Fellowship Hall. Come plate meal trays if you are able!

Tweens & Teens Holiday Event

Calling all cool kids in grades 6-12 to come deck the Chapel Christmas tree in style, then dive into a cookie exchange and sip on some hot cocoa!

Poinsettias will grace the Sanctuary once again this Christmas season

You may purchase one or more of these beautiful plants “in Memory of” or “in Honor of” someone special for $20 each.

Click HERE to place your order and "register" for a plant/plants by Sunday, December 15.

Forms will also be available on the tables in the Sanctuary and outside of the Chapel.

Following the last Christmas Eve service, you may take your flowers to enjoy. Or you may pick them up from the church office on designated days and times.

Come explore how to discover moments of genuine happiness during the holiday season, even amidst stress, grief, or loneliness and learn tools to maintain personal peace and resilience.

Dr. Yvonne Kaye is an award-winning international speaker, storyteller, radio host, mother, and grandmother.

Lunch will be provided at this community event which welcomes everyone, no matter your age!

Sunday School

Christmas Tree Decorating

Sunday, December 1st

Our Sunday School kiddos had a jolly good time decorating the Christmas tree in Sacred Grounds to kick off the First Sunday of Advent!

Plus, the children joined the 10am service and received either Communion or a blessing. It's always a delight seeing the Sunday School kids during services!

Come early to enjoy hot chocolate & treats before each service!

3pm - Traditional:

Experience the reverence of Christmas with a quartet, trumpet, & organ-led carols. This service will be livestreamed. Music begins at 2:40pm so please arrive early!

5:30pm - Family:

Encounter the wonder of the Christmas season with your children at this contemporary, family-friendly service.

8pm - Contemporary:

Rejoice in the beauty of Christmas at this upbeat, candlelight service brimming with carols. This service will be livestreamed.
