Valentine's Week
We are so excited that 2019 Valentine's week is here. This week children will be making and exchanging Valentine's, reading Valentine's Day stories and stories about love, like The Things I Love About Friends and Franklin's Valentines. They will learn and sing Valentine songs and play games with the Valentine's Day theme. Watch for sign-up information on your child's class Valentine's Day party. Thank you all for your part in helping make our Valentine's Day celebrations special and sharing the love. We hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
Pre-K Opening

We have one opening in our Pre-K. Please share this with your friends and have them call or stop by if they need a great spot for their child this spring.

Prayers for Our Teachers

We continue to pray for Ms. Liz who is recovering from surgery on her arm and Ms. Janeth who is grieving the passing of her mother. We also pray for Ms. Diana as she begins her maternity leave after the birth of her son, Anders, on Saturday. Ms. Sara is subbing for Ms. Diana on her maternity leave.

Traffic Flow

Please do not park on the hill between 7:45 and 8:00am. This is our Pre-K carpool time and these spaces are needed for traffic flow. If you anticipate drop-off taking longer than usual, please park in the lower parking lot by the gym or upper lot by the playground. Thank you for your help in getting everyone in the building in a safe and timely manner.

Late Pick-Up Fees

We are going to begin enforcing our late pick-up fees due to the overtime we are paying our teachers for staying late. Please work to be on time in the evenings. Please keep the CDC's phone number (770-532-8188) programmed in your cell phone in case you are running late so that the center can let your child know that you are on your way. If you are late picking up your child, you will be charged according to the chart below.  Payment will be added to the following week's tuition bill.
6:00-6:15 $20.00
6:15-6:30 $20.00 + $10.00
6:30-6:45 $20.00 + $10.00 + $10.00
Planning for Summer

We sent home last week our infant-3 year old summer and fall attendance survey. Please return to your child's teacher as soon as possible.

We have also mailed home a letter to our past School Age summer camp families to let them know that the CDC will not offer summer camp for our elementary children this year. Summer camp for our completed Pre-K children will still be available. Registration will open to the public by April 1.
