Gentle Chair Yoga has started!
We are excited for this new program taking place on Tuesdays at 12PM in the Zabor Room
This will be a trial series that will be 30-45 minutes long led by JoAnne Monahan, a certified Kripalu Yoga and Chair Yoga Instructor. No previous Yoga experience needed.
Sessions will be on Tuesdays, January 25, & February 1, 2022 starting at 12PM. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and get set up so the class may begin on time and without interruptions.
No fancy equipment required - just you in very comfortable clothes. We'll provide the chair!

Nicole's Place is coming to Gloria Dei Church!
In February 2022, the offices of Nicole's Place, a Laurel House satellite that provides support to individuals and families in Eastern Montgomery County who have been impacted by domestic violence, will relocate to Gloria Dei Church.
Gloria Dei Church has been a partner of Nicole’s Place since they opened, and we have collaborated together on the Finding Hope Planning Committee and events.
We are excited for the opportunity to have Nicole's Place here in our building!
Nicole’s Place was named in memory of Nicole Rhoads Peppelman, who was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

We had a great group joining us over the past few months for this intriguing series where we experience a different world for 30 days.
Each time we gather, we will watch a DVD seeing what it's like for someone to experience first-hand a world antithetical to their own existence for one month. Discussion will follow about what we saw. All adults are welcome!

Bear Creek Camp is centered on spiritual growth, outdoor living, and small group development for all children who have completed grades 1-12.
Campers spend their time swimming, boating, hiking, worshipping, playing games, discussing their faith, camping, making arts & crafts, learning about the environment, singing, and much more!

Laurel’s Loft is a thrift shop owned and operated by Laurel House and serves as a means of funding for Laurel House’s domestic violence programs.
Laurel House clients, along with their children, have access to donated items at no cost through a voucher program. The shop is a friendly, safe, clean, and enjoyable place to shop.
They are always in need of new & gently used donations!
