Take Home Communion Kits are Still Available.
As you know, we eliminated the "red books" and are now using FlockNote instead. We are no longer asking or requiring which service you will be attending.

There are 3 ways to do SIGN-IN each weekend:

  1. Using the text message you receive on Thursdays OR
  2. By clicking the button above each week OR
  3. Through our website www.emmanuel-elca.org

This can be done anytime through your phone - even while on your way to worship or sitting in the pew - if you happen to forget. There will be a place available in the Narthex to SIGN-IN IF you are unable to do so online.

If you wish NOT to receive text messages, DO NOT enter your phone number when using FlockNote; only your email address.
THIS SUNDAY!
Hardcopies of the annual report are available upon request, at the church and in the office center.
One per family please.

The Center for Christian Education in Slovakia sent us a video, which you can view below, about some current projects and how they are coming out of COVID lockdowns, etc. Bohdan Hroboň will be here on March 26-27 to update us on their mission. To learn more about the center, visit their website at Center for Christian Education | cce.sk

Barb's Medical Minutes
Ok, this is kind of a bummer, but despite headlines extolling the health perks of chocolate (especially the darker types), research is mixed. In some short-term studies, dark chocolate lowered blood pressure slightly. But in large, longer-term studies, chocolate eaters saw no reduction in heart-disease risks when compared with those who didn’t eat any. So, bottom line is chocolate is just a candy and a treat that should be eaten in moderation. Don’t kill the messenger!
