In March of this year, the congregation approved a $700,000 Capital Improvements Budget for 2022. We wish to share an update with respect to what has been done so far.
First, with respect to the Air Conditioning project, three of the four new units have been installed and are operational. The fourth unit, which will condition the narthex restrooms, will be installed in coordination with the Roofing project as this unit will be a rooftop unit.
Second, we are most pleased to share that the new roof installation has begun as of June 13th. The sloped roofing areas will be replaced with a metal standing seam roof in the first phase. In the second phase, the flat roof surface will be repaired to provide adequate runoff and be covered with a new TPO membrane.
Third, the Property Committee has been busy with the updating of Rowe Hall. Painting of all the rooms is beginning this week and will be followed by replacement of all of the flooring.
The Property Committee is also finalizing bids for the outside painting of our church after the new roof is complete as well as obtaining bids for the new storage cabinets in the Fellowship Hall.
We remain most grateful for the support of our congregation and will furnish additional updates as we address our entire campus.
