UPPER SCHOOL STUDENTS & THE FLEECE CONNECTION

MEET MADISON
She’s awesome . And, we’re so proud that she’s an Eden Alum from the Class of 2011 .

Madison’s compassion and kindness led the choice for her Eden senior project : making and distributing blankets to the homeless in Pittsburgh.

FAST FORWARD TO 2019
What Madison began as a senior project developed through the years into a non-profit organization, FLEECE CONNECTION , which makes and distributes fleece blankets to hospitalized Veterans around Western Pennsylvania and the United States.

WHY ARE WE TELLING YOU MADISON'S STORY?
Aside from the fact that it’s really amazing and a delightful part of Eden history; we're sharing because Eden students will roll up their sleeves and help the Fleece Connection!

WHAT'S HAPPENING?
On April 9, upper school students will invest their energy and compassion in a BLANKET-MAKING WORKSHOP led by Fleece Connection. Held on-campus at Mt. Nebo, this meaningful (and super-fun) hands-on event, will surely inspire students and help them on the journey to connect with their God-given potential and direction for life.

Our goal is that every student will be able to make their own blanket.

2 EASY WAYS YOU CAN HELP REACH THE GOAL!

  • Shop & Drop: Buy two 2-yard lengths of fleece material* and drop the material off in your campus main office. *Be sure to select material that would be appropriate for a man or a woman (plain, stripes, plaid, etc.)
OR
  • Donate the Cost of Material: Just CLICK HERE to donate. $25.00 covers the cost of material for one blanket. ANY DONATION AMOUNT is greatly appreciated. Fleece Connection will purchase the material and bring it to the event for an Eden student to make the blanket!

The upper school students are excited to be part of this event. And, we appreciate your generous support!

BE AN EDEN AMBASSADOR!

HELP CONNECT NEW FAMILIES TO THE EDEN COMMUNITY

This exciting opportunity for Eden parents - the School Year Ambassador Program - welcomes and connects new families to Eden and will kick-off with a Welcome Coffee on August 23 at Berkeley Hills and Wexford .

YOU can share your Eden enthusiasm with a new family as a School Year Ambassador!

As an Ambassador, you will:
  • Be paired with a family that is new to Eden (contact information will be emailed to you during the first week of August)
  • Attend the Welcome Coffee at your campus (excluding Mt. Nebo)
  • Reach out to your assigned new family during the year to invite them to school events and serve as a resource
  • Earn volunteer hours

We are looking for Ambassadors to represent all grades at all three campuses. If you’re interested in being an Eden Ambassador, click below.
