Yoga on Tuesday, April 1

in the Zabor Room

Gentle Yoga at 10am

Gentle Chair Yoga at 12pm

Please arrive 15 minutes early

Gentle Yoga is a 60-75 minute class. Please bring your own mat. If you do not have a mat, one can be provided.

Gentle Chair Yoga is a 45 minute class. No equipment or previous Yoga experience needed!

Both classes are led by JoAnne Monahan, a certified Kripalu and Chair Yoga Instructor.

Maintenance Manager

Part Time Position

This person serves the church by managing the care and maintenance of the church building, grounds, and equipment. This position oversees the day-to-day and long-term maintenance and operation of the church. When necessary, the Maintenance Manager will assume the responsibilities of the Property Manager in their absence. The position averages 20 hours per week.

Feast of Justice Volunteer Packing Night

Thursday, April 10

Meet at Feast of Justice and volunteer for their Pantry Express Pick-up (PEP) packing night!

Click HERE to register to join in on this fun volunteer opportunity! Anyone ages 10 and up can volunteer.

Volunteers put together boxes of dry goods to be distributed to families or work in the front foyer to give out the boxes along with fresh food. Anywhere from 40-60 families typically receive food during a PEP shift.

Next volunteer date is Thursday, May 8.

Palm Sunday Community Brunch

Sunday, April 13

Everyone is welcome to this Community Brunch immediately following ONE 10am, family-friendly Palm Sunday worship service.

This is a wonderful opportunity to gather, share a meal, and connect as a church family and community.

Volunteers are needed, both teenage and adult!

Easter Flowers for the Sanctuary

Easter flowers will grace the Sanctuary on Easter Sunday, April 20.

You may purchase one or more of these beautiful plants “in Memory of” or “in Honor of” someone special for $15 each.

Click HERE to place your order and "register" for a plant by Sunday, April 13. Please register again to purchase additional plants.

Forms will also be available in the Sanctuary and Chapel.

You may take your flowers to enjoy following the last Easter service or you may pick them up from the church office on Tuesday, April 22.

Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday, April 13

Join us for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt following our 10am family-friendly Palm Sunday service!

Children from preschool through 5th grade are invited to participate in the hunt. Meet us at 11:15am by the preschool playground in the parking lot.

A tote will be provided to collect all the eggs, and of course stay for brunch after the egg hunt.

Look out for the Easter Bunny, who will be there for photos!

We've had such a great response to the Egg Hunt, that registration is waitlist only. Click HERE for more information and to be put on the waitlist.

Maundy Thursday Dinner Church Service

Thursday, April 17

6pm in Christian Fellowship Hall

Maundy Thursday is the holiday that celebrates Jesus giving Communion to His disciples over a Passover dinner. Gloria Dei is celebrating by throwing a huge soup potluck. Come hungry! And be sure to bring a friend.

This will be an evening of great discussion and community.

Good Friday Tenebrae Service

Friday, April 18

6pm in the Sanctuary

Gather in the Sanctuary or online for this powerful Tenebrae service with music and scripture readings.

Come early to go through the 12 Stations of the Cross artwork hanging up around the Sanctuary. Scan the QR code on each picture for a reading, questions, and a meditation.

Gloria Dei's Tweens & Teens had a great time on Sunday, March 30 making delicious, personal pizzas and playing some rousing games of flag football!

Thank you to everyone for making this evening so enjoyable and tasty.

A big shoutout to Jon Bergstresser for the amazing pizza-making lessons for the kids - they had a blast!
