Yoga on Tuesdays in the Zabor Room

Next Sessions are on November 19

Gentle Yoga at 10AM

Gentle Chair Yoga at 12PM

Please arrive 15 minutes early

Gentle Yoga is a 60-75 minute class. Please bring your own mat. If you do not have a mat, one can be provided.

Gentle Chair Yoga is a 45 minute class. No equipment or previous Yoga experience needed!

Both classes are led by JoAnne Monahan, a certified Kripalu and Chair Yoga Instructor.

OHAAT Beds for Kids Fundraiser

Gloria Dei is partnering with One House At A Time's Beds for Kids program this holiday season to raise money to purchase beds and everything that goes along with getting a good night's sleep for children in the Philadelphia area.

Help us reach our goal of 30 beds! Now through December 8, Gloria Dei’s Endowment Fund will match all donations made!

Click HERE and select the Beds for Kids fund to make a donation online. Or send a check made out to Gloria Dei Church with Beds for Kids written on the memo line to 570 Welsh Road; H.V., PA 19006.

OHAAT's mission: provide children and youth living in poverty with beds, bedding, and tools that encourage healthy bedtime habits, so they can get the quality and sufficient sleep they need to thrive.

Kevin’s Koats Collection

The Gloria Dei Preschool is accepting new or gently worn coats for men, women and children.

Please bring your donations to the church office this week.

Kevin was a student of our Preschool Director, Mrs. Melissa Whitman, so this foundation holds a special place in her heart. Gloria Dei Preschool partners with the Kevin From Heaven Foundation in achieving their mission to "honor Kevin, and his parents’ wishes, by providing assistance to those who are facing life altering events and who require assistance in overcoming the challenges they face."

Remy the Therapy Dog & Friendsgiving

All the Sunday School children loved meeting Remy the therapy dog at church on Sunday!

They also enjoyed sharing a Friendsgiving snack together.

Tweens & Teens Friendsgiving Party

The Middle and High Schoolers had a great time at their Friendsgiving Party last night!

There was plenty of food & desserts, time to connect, and to create a personalized affirmation jar!

Thank you to all who made the evening possible.

Dr. Yvonne Kaye is an award-winning international speaker, storyteller, radio host, mother, and grandmother.

Lunch will be provided at this community event which welcomes everyone, no matter your age!

Congregational Meeting

Thank you to everyone who participated in the life of the church at the Congregational Meeting!

The church's new logo was revealed by Pastor Brendan, and Church Council members were elected.

Congratulations to:

Paul Mac Donald and Bette Tumir on their re-election
Julie Menken and Loretta Spielmann on being elected
And thank you to Angela DiPalantino and Tomea Sippio-Smith for serving on Church Council these past three years.
