Yoga on Tuesdays in the Zabor Room

Next Sessions are on November 5

Gentle Yoga at 10AM

Gentle Chair Yoga at 12PM

Please arrive 15 minutes early

Gentle Yoga is a 60-75 minute class. Please bring your own mat. If you do not have a mat, one can be provided.

Gentle Chair Yoga is a 45 minute class. No equipment or previous Yoga experience needed!

Both classes are led by JoAnne Monahan, a certified Kripalu and Chair Yoga Instructor.

Feast of Justice Volunteer Packing Night

Thursday, November 7

5-8pm

3101 Tyson Ave., Phila., PA 19149

Meet at Feast of Justice and volunteer for their Pantry Express Pick-up (PEP) packing night!

Volunteers put together boxes of dry goods to be distributed to families or work in the front foyer to give out the boxes and fresh food. Anywhere from 40-60 families typically receive food during a PEP shift.

Make a Casserole and/or Plate Meals

for Caring for Friends

This month's recipe is a Chicken and Rice Crockpot Casserole. Bring your casserole with you to church on Sunday, November 10. Please label your casserole and leave it in the refrigerator in the Christian Fellowship Hall kitchen, NOT the freezer!

Meal Assembly will take place on Monday, November 11 at 9:30am in Christian Fellowship Hall. Come plate meal trays if you are able!

20s & 30s Beer and Pizza Trivia Night

Thursday, November 14

Bill's Best Brewery

Let's be honest, it's hard connecting to others as an adult. So some awesome 20s-30s year-olds are meeting for trivia, beer, and meaningful connections.

The evening is simple- we're meeting at Bill's Best in Glenside, ordering some snacks, and playing trivia.

Finding Joy During the Holidays: Part 1 with Dr. Yvonne Kaye

Come explore how to discover moments of genuine happiness during the holiday season, even amidst stress, grief, or loneliness and learn tools to maintain personal peace and resilience.

Dr. Yvonne Kaye is an award-winning international speaker, storyteller, radio host, mother, and grandmother. Known for her humor and spiritual approach, she brings a unique perspective to her work, blending personal insights drawing on her own life experience and decades of work with veterans, first responders, nurses and others from varied industries. Her approach to healing emphasizes laughter, which she calls “the miracle healer.”

This community event welcomes everyone, no matter your age!

Lunch will be provided.

Tween & Youth Friendsgiving Party

Sunday, November 17 from 5–7pm

Calling all Tweens & Youth in grades 6-12! Leave the parents at home, and join us for a Friendsgiving Party in the Zabor Room!

We'll provide the main dish, we just ask that you bring a side dish or dessert to share with everyone.

Socks for the Streets

6th Annual Sock Drive

Gloria Dei is collecting NEW socks now through November 15

There will be a Socks for the Streets bin in the back of the Sanctuary.

Bring your sock donations with you to church on Sundays or to the church office during the week.

Kevin’s Koats Collection

now through November 22

The Gloria Dei Preschool is accepting new or gently worn coats for men, women and children.

Please bring your donations with you to church and place them in the bin located inside the main church entrance at Founders Way.

Kevin was a student of our Preschool Director, Mrs. Melissa Whitman, so this foundation holds a special place in her heart. Gloria Dei Preschool partners with the Kevin From Heaven Foundation in achieving their mission to "honor Kevin, and his parents’ wishes, by providing assistance to those who are facing life altering events and who require assistance in overcoming the challenges they face."
