Meet us at Caring For Friends to help prepare and package meals for people in need in the greater Philadelphia area.
If you cannot arrive by 5PM, you can still join in when you arrive later.
Closed toe shoes are required. Hair nets & aprons will be provided. Anyone ages 12 & up can volunteer!

who helped make Gloria Dei's Fall Kickoff on Sunday, September 18 a fun event for everyone!
A big thank you to the musicians who made the one combined 10AM worship service special with both praise music and hymns; to Dana & Betsy for the backpack blessing bags, games, Bounce House, and Cupcake Baking & Decorating Contests; to Dawn Frank and her Hospitality Team for the delicious food; and to all the volunteers who helped run the games, and set up & cleaned up CFH.
And thank you to all of you for being present and participating in all of the various activities. Remember, YOU are the church!

We are still collecting non-food items for Feast of Justice, primarily paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal care items. Please drop them off at the church office this week. Click HERE for the complete list.

Sunday School classes return September 25!
All kids in preschool through 6th grade are welcome to join every Sunday during the 10AM service.
Children begin in the service and are dismissed to classes following the Children’s Message. They will experience creative activities, games, crafts & Bible stories for imaginative learning.

Cleaning out your closets?
Laurel House now has a clothing & shoes collection bin here at Gloria Dei Church!
Look for the bright yellow collection bin at the "top" of the parking lot at the beginning of the Preschool path.
Please put all clothes and shoes in bags before placing them in the collection bin.
You may also donate at Laurel House's two thrift shops. Click on each for more information:

Gloria Dei is hiring:
-Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper directs the financial responsibilities for both Gloria Dei Church and the Gloria Dei Preschool; is responsible for banking, accounting, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, general maintenance of the financial records as well as preparation of budgets and monitoring of spending. This is a part time position of approximately 25-30 hours per week.
