Career Launch
The Career Launch programme is a 4-week series of workshops aimed at helping students prepare for the graduate job market. Students who attend all four sessions, submit a high-quality CV and LinkedIn profile, and receive a passing score will be eligible for a non-credit-bearing Careers Certificate. Individual appointments are only available to those who attend the sessions. By completing the programme, students will have a competitive advantage in job applications, interviews, and job search strategies. Attendance is mandatory, and latecomers will not be allowed. Live feedback sessions and in-person CV clinics are available for personalised guidance. This is a valuable opportunity to improve job prospects and interview skills.

CV Clinic
Get Personalized Feedback on Your CV and LinkedIn!
Join our online live events on MSTeams for real-time CV and LinkedIn feedback. After attending the Creating an Impactful CV workshop, participate in the CV class and Live Clinic to book a one-to-one appointment with a Careers Advisor.
Or, visit our in-person CV Clinics in the Atrium. These clinics run throughout the week on a first-come, first-served basis. Each Advisor can see up to 6 people per hour. Don't forget to attend the Career Launch CV class before coming for a CV review.

Free Headshots
The Careers Service at NCI is offering free headshots for students to enhance their LinkedIn profiles and, ultimately, their career prospects on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. and Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. The headshots will be available for download within a few days and can be used not only on LinkedIn but for any other professional purposes as well.
- The photos will be available to download from Flicker (Link on @NCICareers) within 3 days. You can use them for your LinkedIn profile or whenever you require a high-quality professional headshot.
- Headshots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The photos are only available to suitably dressed people, so no hoodies, tracksuits, etc. You do not need to wear a suit, but you will need to be “business casual,” as this opportunity is funded as a professional headshot.
