ONE FAMILY SENT TO WELCOME AND DISCIPLE ALL PEOPLE TO FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

SUNDAY, MAY 7, 2023

Pastor Craig's current sermon series is from the Gospel of Mark. The first eight chapters of Mark focus on Jesus as the Messiah, and Mark portrays this in a very deliberate way. The series culminates in chapter 8, where Jesus asks his disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" Peter responds, "You are the Messiah." Throughout the first eight chapters, there are stories where Jesus reveals himself as the Messiah, while at the same time instructing people not to reveal it to others. This series is titled "The Silent Mission". These stories are filled with tension, conflict, and pressure from those both for and against Jesus. However, it is not yet his time to be captured, so he must reveal himself as the Messiah while maintaining the need for silence.

If you are navigating a life filled with tension and seeking guidance on how to remain faithful, this sermon series is for you.
